I met Bindu shah the mehndi bespoke designer in 2004 / 2005 for the first time. I was one of few people when she first started. She is the best i have ever know till now, she always has the best and unique designs, her speed towards her ideas are quick. She made my wedding memorable with her design. Since 2004 till today(2012) when ever i go to india i get mehndi done by her all the time, doesnt matter if there is any occasion or not. And yes one of my favourite design is circle design at the back. I would highly recommend her to everyone anywhere in the world.

Mehndi is the application of henna as a temporary form of skin decoration in India. The word mehndi is derived from the Sanskrit word mendhikā .Traditional Indian designs are of representations of the sun on the palm, which, in this context, is intended to represent the hands and feet. Mehndi decorations became fashionable in the West in the late 1990s, where they are sometimes called henna tattoos. Henna is typically applied during special occasions like weddings & Hindu festivals like Karva Chauth, Diwali, Bhaidooj and Teej. We have many professionals who apply mehndi in India. I saw bindu ben's work when she came for a cousin's wedding mehendi for the first time. And since then, she s been the one to put mehendi for all the brides in our family including me. Her mehendi designs spoke of graceful elegance. She would be so calm from the time she would start till the end. What I loved about her work was that she is so patient ,co-operating with the bride at all times, who has a million people coming to meet in between, no cranky behavior , no hurrying up no matter how late it got; Just a constant flow of beautiful designs filling up the hands of the bride. Now thats the kind of person you require for such an important event in your life. She was very warm and professional at the same time. She blended in the family or rather knew most of the previous brides she had catered to from our family. What amazed me the most is her attention to detail. She carries her mehendi cones in a decorative box, the cones being wrapped in colourful, bright paper.. When I asked her why so ? She said I like to dress them a little bit, they look good in pictures too. How lovely is that ?! I wish her all the best and have recommended her to a lot of people I love and will continue doing so.

Bindu’s Mehandi is one of the finest and detailed Mehandi. She is a perfectionist . Each and every image is so beautifully done that you just can’t get over it. I very strongly recommend her work. She is one of the best. I must say that if Bindu is not putting the mehandi than you are definitely missing something.
